My wife and I have been through the selling process of 4 homes, buying of 5 homes, so we have been around the block a few times. As you can imagine, each transaction dealt with many real estate agents, and, as in nearly all contracts, minimal to major snags. A lot of the snags are caused by real estate agents that try to take advantage of a seller or buyer's inexperience. My wife and I have 3 young children, and we wanted an agent that would be understanding of what stresses and dynamics they bring to the transactions. With our prior housing buying and selling experiences, my wife and I were very particular with our selection, and interviewed over 6 agents.
We felt that Stacey would be ideal for our buying and selling needs, and we were absolutely right.
I've been in retail management for almost 14 years, which helped me recognize a fellow business manager that has a good plan, stays on target, and hold's herself accountable. Stacey's main goal of course was to sell our home at top dollar and buy another one at a tremendous price. However, her other goals were to protect every penny I had invested throughout the contract, have a brutally honest and respectful relationship, and maintain a friendship throughout and after the business was complete.
She was consistently understanding and considerate of situations involving our children. Whether it was planning for the staging of our home, or considering what short term and long term concerns our new home we should have regarding our kids- Stacey brought many perspectives and thoughts to the table, and made our comfort a top priority.
I felt completely confident in Stacey's ability to protect my wife and I throughout our contracts. As issues came up, she was very direct with the other agents if things were unfair, or inappropriate, but also very fluent and seamless as situations deemed necessary. Her knowledge with contracts and procedures is outstanding. However, she also was never too proud if she wasn't 100% sure on a legal matter, and use her many resources to get clarification. I was never fond of someone who would guess at issues and seem unable to learn something new, rather than be absolutely certain to protect her clients.
Lastly, Stacey's greatest gift to do her job comes across in her demeanor and personality. Always smiling, always positive, and infectious. She is extremely thoughtful and seems to always remember the small things you mention as if she's always known. Whether it be details of your dream home, your child's favorite hobby, or the name of the paint you need to touch up with.
If you are looking to make the process of selling or buying your home a professional, profitable, and personable one, choose Stacey Rider as your agent.
