It’s a month full of fireworks, flip flops and fireflies. July is nearly here! Get out your calendars and save the date for all of this free fun in store during the month of July, in greater Austin:

101X Summer Cinema Series: The Sandlot – July 1 at 8:30pm
Arrive early with your blankets, lawn chairs, kids and leashed pets to enjoy The Sandlot. The movie starts at dusk, but prior to the show, you will be able to enjoy plenty of fun-filled family activities, food specials in the cafe and more! No outside food or drinks allowed. Fireworks and Festivals

39th Annual Austin Symphony H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks
Where: Lady Bird Lake at Vic Mathias Shores (formerly Auditorium Shores) in front of the Long Center for the Performing Arts.
When: Saturday, July 4, 2015. Concert begins at 8:30 p.m.
Fireworks: 9:30 p.m.
Activities: After a one-year stint at COTA, the orchestra is excited to move its celebration back to the shores of Lady Bird Lake. Tens of thousands of families will be decked out in red, white, and blue for an amazing event complete with a fireworks display over the city skyline backed by symphonic patriotic classics.

Bartlett Real Estate wants to thank all of the Four Points Residents who donated items to Austin Disaster Relief Network.  Earlier this week we took the donated item to ADRN’s HOPE Thrift Store. 

They we thrilled with all the clothing, books, toys and household goods we delivered.  The outpouring of donations has caused them to add a huge tented area in the back of their store area just to stage and sort the donated items.  Many of the flood victims we there that day picking up needed items for their families and they told us how much it means to them to have a facility like HOPE to help them begin getting their lives and families back together.

Thank you again Four Points – we are blessed to live in a city and a community that always pulls together

"NLand Surf Park brings the ocean to Central Texas in a lagoon, roughly the size of Lady Bird Lake between the Congress Avenue and South First Street bridges," stated Thursday's press release.

The 160-acre site at 4836 TX-71 — just east of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport — will feature a variety of water activities, including a beach for kids, a tiki bar and a large outdoor venue. However, the main attraction is a 12-acre wave pool with 11 distinct surfing areas — the first of its kind in North America.

Using technology from Spanish firm Wavegarden, the pool will be capable of generating 300 waves per hour, alternating between one-foot, four-foot and six-foot waves every 60 seconds. Each wave can carry a surfer for an

This time of year — after school lets out but before summer's oppressive heat takes over — is what a lot of folks consider to be the best time to buy a house. Realtor.com agrees, and according to its May trend report, Austin-Round Rock is the 16th hottest residential market in the country.

This "real estate hotness index" is composed of two indicators: the number of views per listing on Realtor.com and the median age of inventory in each market.

Where views are concerned, listings in the Austin metro area are viewed 70 percent more than the U.S. average and 14 percent more than the Texas average. Austin also ranks No. 27 on the fast-moving supply list. Homes here are only on the market an estimated 42 days, which is
